Is The Sims Resource good or bad? I keep hearing mixed results?

Just to be safe I want to know if TSR is safe because I keep seeing people say "it's safe and I've used it since the Sims first came out" and then I here "the site has lots of viruses and is not trustworthy". Which one is true?Is The Sims Resource good or bad? I keep hearing mixed results?
I really wouldn't go there, they seem quite shady to me. And there's no reason to pay for Sims downloads, there are lots of free content. Try the Exchange on the official site or Mod The Sims.



And worse; more than 600 people have recently had their personal information (real names and emails) made public and TSR is apparently behind that, claiming these people are "pirates". Well, it's actually illegal to charge money for Sims content so they have no business making accusations like that in the first place.
