Do this. Right click, and choose: Extract to the specified folder, My documents/EA games/ Sims 2/Downloads.How do you use the downloads from websites like The Sims Resource or Mod the Sims 2?
1st your going to need winzip and winrar. You can google those and find where you can download them for free.
Then go to My Documents%26gt;%26gt;EA GAMES%26gt;%26gt;The Sims 2
Once in the file for The sims2 right click and go to "New" when that dropdown menu comes up click on "New Folder" Name the folder "Downloads"
When you save the downloads save them into the downloads folder, when they're in there right click them and click "extract" then the download should be in your game :)
