Sims 3 failed to download stuff from the sims 3 resource?

i try to download stuff from the sims resource and everywhere else and whenever it tried to download it says " download:failed,DONE!"

IT always does tht and now i cant download anything and it makes me sad :( lol so does any1 kno whats wrong?Sims 3 failed to download stuff from the sims 3 resource?
LOL, this is EA for you. T$R only uses .sims3pack files, and people were pirating EA's .sims3pack Store files. So what do EA do? Disable all non-official .sims3packs of course! So now you'll have to install framework if you want T$R's crappy items (yes, they're crappy, even Ulker's shiney hairs have horrible textures that make me shudder).

Framework? I hear you say.

This is the framework, it was developed by the very people that made EA disable .sims3packs, how ironic, eh? The pirates win again, and we all love winners. Now, you will download this, use the PROVIDED install manual and install it correctly. I'm not going to teach you how to do it, it's simple. If you have World Adventures, install the d3dx9_31.dll to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 World adventures\Game\Bin if you have High-End Loft Stuff, install the d3dx9_31.dll to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 High-End Loft Stuff\Game\Bin. That is the only thing you do differently, mm'kay?

Wonderful, you've installed the framework. Now let's make it work even better! Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCCache, copy all the .dbc files and paste them in your C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages file. Go to C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 and open the Resource.cfg with notepad. Press ctrl+a, and delete. Then put

Okay, you should be set to go, if it doesn't work, or you get stuck, go to some of the pages which I have attached in the sources. Some of them will be item specific (such as one is about installing AwesomeMod) but I'm guessing you're clever enough to ignore the parts you don't need.
