I would like to download hair and clothes from the Sims Resource but I am not sure what meshes are. How do they affect my game and computer and what are they for?How do meshes affect my computer and Sims 2 game?
The Sims 2 is a 3 dimensional (3D) game. Almost everything you see in the game is some sort of 3d model, a set of triangles in 3D space. These 3D models combine with textures and other settings to make up your sims and everything in their homes.



3D models are often called meshes, and that is the term used for 3D models in The Sims 2.



A mesh is just the shape and form. It is nothing without texture. Textures for meshes are generally called recolours.
