How do you download files from the Sims resource, and then install it into the game on a different computer?

I have 2 computers: 1 with internet, 1 with sims. How can I download stuff onto the 1 with internet, and then install it on the 1 with sims, but no internet? I have USB file sticks that can transfer files from computer to computer with no problem, but I need to know how to install the files onto sims manually, and without internet. How do you download files from the Sims resource, and then install it into the game on a different computer?
This was also my problem until recently when I got a new gaming computer with wifi.

This is what you do:

1.) Download the files to your usb.

2.) Put the usb into your simming computer.

3.) Open the usb file.

4.) Double-click the sim file you wish to install.

5.) If a window pops up asking for permission to run the program click allow.

6.) Sims Body shop should open and ask you if you would like to install; Click install.

I know this works with downloads from thesims2.com but it should work with any custom content that you are trying to install. Good luck :-)How do you download files from the Sims resource, and then install it into the game on a different computer?
You dont need internet to install custom content just to download it. Once you download it copy it onto a disc or USB and then upload it onto the other computer. Then extract the files with winzip and place into your downloads folder, or if you want to be lazy and do it real quick (especially if you have lots of files) downlaod Sims File Maid (be sure you get Sims File Maid for Sims 1 or Sims 2, depending which game it is) and install her onto the computer you want to use and she will extarct them and put them exactly where they need to go. You just drag and drop the zipfile. Easy! How do you download files from the Sims resource, and then install it into the game on a different computer?
simple,

1.put the usb with the sims files in the sim computer

2.put them in the downloads folder for the sims eg. my documents %26gt; ea games %26gt; sims 2 %26gt; downloads

3.if they are a SIMS2PACK file double click it, and something will pop up and click install, if it is a PACKAGE file it doesnt need installing it just has to be in the right folder, which is the one i said to put it in.
