How do i install Sims 3 custom content without having to download winRAR or helper monkey?

Is there any other sites like the sims resource that automatically bring it to the sims 3 pop up thing where you press play and click download and stuff?How do i install Sims 3 custom content without having to download winRAR or helper monkey?
Not many sites host sims3pack files like TSR these days, creators like to package their files to keep the download speeds down.

If you want to, take a look at my guide to installing the package files without the helper monkey. You'll need to install either winrar or 7zip (my guide links to 7zip - it's free, safe and very easy to use), but it's well worth the trouble because you never have to worry about what type of file you're downloading!
